Of these 60 vineyards, 38 are open for the public to enjoy the scenery and taste some fantastic wines. The vineyards you’ll see vary in size from a mere two and a half acres to over 500 acres, producing varietals ranging from the traditional chardonnay and merlot to the more obscure dolcetto and riesling.
Wölffer Estate Vineyard. Operating in the classic European tradition of wine making, this Hamptons area estate is one of the world’s most exciting vineyards, producing over 13,500 cases of red, white, fruit, and sparkling wines each year. The Italian-inspired winery is a pleasure to tour and enjoy a leisurely wine tasting. The main building is of Tuscan architecture and exhibits an openness that will allow you to imagine you are in an Italian chateau as you taste the winery’s delicious wines and products.

Martha Clara Vineyards. This picturesque vineyard in Riverhead, NY offers gorgeous facilities perfect for photographs, wine tasting, and all sorts of personal and corporate events.
