Naveen Kakarla
Naveen Kakarla is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Hersha Hospitality Management and serves on its Board of Directors. Naveen is responsible for HHM’s investment and fund management, acquisitions and development, accounting, human resources, along with brand and owner relations. Naveen is also responsible for the integration of new properties into the operational support structure at HHM. Prior to joining Hersha in 2005, Naveen led the growth and integration of Esoterix, Inc., a private equity backed "roll-up" of seven distinct companies into one of the fastest growing in its sector, resulting in its sale to a $3 billion+ public entity.
Naveen was previously a partner specializing in corporate and securities law at the national law firm of Jenkens & Gilchrist, P.C., and was also associated with Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer Feld, LLP in Washington D.C. Naveen earned a Bachelor of Arts from Austin College and a law degree from Cornell Law School.

Michael Murray
Michael Murray is Chief Operating Officer of Hersha Hospitality Management. Michael is responsible for all of the company´s operational functions at the corporate and property levels. Michael is a 27-year hospitality veteran who has in-depth operations expertise throughout the United States and Caribbean.
Previously, Michael was the operations leader at Sage Hospitality Resources with responsibility for 48 hotels, $500 million in annual revenue and 6,000 associates across the United States. He played an integral role in the company´s expansion from a third-party manager of select-service hotels in secondary markets to its current role as an owner-operator of full-service and urban-core, select-service hotels.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Michigan State University, and currently serves as Chairman Emeritus of MSU´s Executive Alumni Board of The School of Hospitality Business. He was named Alumnus of the Year in 2008. Michael currently serves on the advisory board for Sheraton Hotels, and previously held similar positions for Renaissance and Hilton Garden Inn and is also a current board member of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Gregory Ade
Gregory Ade is Executive Vice President of Operations of Hersha Hospitality Management. Greg is responsible for HHM’s growing portfolio in New York City and building out the company's full-service platform, focusing on best in class guest satisfaction and enhancing the full-service capabilities and infrastructure. Greg has over 30 years of experience in the hotel industry. Prior to joining Hersha, Greg was Chief Operating Officer of Millennium Hotels, where oversaw 40 major assets with more than $650 million in annual revenue in the U.S. and Europe. Previously, Greg served as President of Wyndham Hotels Management Company, where he was brought in for his operational expertise to reorganize the company through several ownership transformations to the newly formed Wyndham Worldwide. Greg also heldmultiple senior management positions within Interstate Hotels& Resorts. Greg earned a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Denver.

Sal Shahriar
Sal Shahriar is Executive Vice President at Hersha Hospitality Management. Sal is responsible for overseeing the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Cetnral Regions, along with most of our administrative functions. Prior to joining Hersha, Sal spent six years at intercontinental as director of field services where he oversaw 589 hotels and 17 field service managers. Previously, he was general manager with Winegardner & Hammons and with B.F. Saul Company as assistant vice president of the hotel division.
Sal received his Bachelor of Science from Mississippi State University and his MBA from Norfolk State University.

Jason Linsey
Jason Linsey is Vice President of Financial Services for Hersha Hospitality Management. Jason is responsible for all of the accounting and financial functions of the company at both the corporate and property levels. Prior to joining Hersha, Jason served as Senior Director of Payroll and Compensation Accounting and Administration at Rite Aid Corporation, where he was responsible for overseeing accounting, financial reporting and internal control functions, along with managing the design and administration of Rite Aid's compensation programs and payroll function. During his career at Rite Aid, Jason also served as the Director of Accounts Payable.
Jason previously served as a senior manager with the "Big Four" firms of Arthur Andersen LLP and KPMG LLP. During this time, he provided a broad range of auditing and business advice across various industries. Jason earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Susquehanna University. He is currently an active member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.

Stephanie Esposito
Stephanie Esposito CHSP, Vice President of Group Sales for Hersha Hospitality Management has over 15 years experience in sales & marketing. For the past ten years Stephanie has been developing the international and domestic tour markets for HHM's portfolio of hotels. Stephanie is a member of numerous tourism organizations and currently serves on the education committee for the American Bus Association. Stephanie is a Certified Hospitality Sales Professional and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Villanova University.
